In my Master degree in Animation 2021-2022, in one of the semesters we had to create little groups within our class. My group made out of four people, Heleen Portheine, Tessa Stehouwer, Kees Koorevaar, and me Kevin Da Costa Silva, named our group: “Busy Boots Studio”. As one of the professional assignments we got, was from “We are Playground”1.

 

Every group in our class had the task to do a 15sec part of an opening trailer. As an end result, everyone's 15seconds would be combined into one cohesive trailer, presenting all the topics of the festival. This trailer was shown at the beginning of the festival. For this assignment (we are playground) I was chosen to take on the role of the (Art) Director. Together with my team, we created a wonderful short with a focus on Character Design.
